When I was a kid, I used to walk down to the end of the block and just sit there when my parents were upset with me. I always dreamed of walking, passing the block, and just keeping on walking until my feet led me somewhere. I couldn't do that then. I didn't know how. I also felt I had nothing.
These days I feel that I can do it, and that I have all I need. Myself.
The question is, will I ever step off the corner? What will it take? What lies around the block? |
